Crayon Monograms $.25

Here was my first go at the Crayon Monogram for my sons teacher last year. The 24 ct box of crayons was only 25 cents at Wally World so this is one of the coolest and cheapest gifts EVER!
What could be better right??

Go to printerprojects.com. to print out block letters for any need!!

The F took less than one box of crayons. I am also going to try a couple of these with nails and screws and some washers and bolts to give to Papaw because he is a builder of all things. I think it may be cute too.

Enjoy!!

Flowers Farmville

I saw this uber cute post by:

I wanted one and I was messing with hers and I couldn't get exactly what I wanted.
Mostly because we are a totally dysfunctional family who love us just the way we are!!

I had to make my own!!

I downloaded my own silhouettes, and put them all together.

Here is my dream body in my family portrait.

Yes it's true, that is how many we have in our zoo!!

We have the weakest hearts when it comes to rescuing animals.

Thank you Andrea for the inspiration. I printed it and it's on my entertainment center already!!

Have fun if you buy your own or create yours.

Shoes for the 4th

Everyone needs a pair of patriotic shoes, am I right?
Well with a little effort and contemplation....

I made me a pair of shoes.

I used ribbon I found at Wal-Mart.
Some cardboard & some shoe inserts.

I used a pattern from my flip-flops I LOVE!!
Then cut out the cardboard.
Cut strips of the wide ribbon just long enough to
cover the tops and wrap over the edges.
I covered each piece of ribbon with a extra strong durable packaging tape.
The bottoms are covered in black duck tape and
should last long enough for me to tromp around town on the 4th.

I hope you like it!!
