I need some help from my fellow Bloggers.

Ok so I am full on into making these magnets with the glass orbs.

I am addicted to them! I love them!
 I want all the holidays!

Plus I wanted to share them with you!

Well our local Dollar Tree carries the little gems,
BUT...

Do you see the problem?
Well I thought they looked a little too bluish-green in the store but then was thinking maybe if I had them seperated they may be clear.

So I'm asking if any of my fellow blogers could be so kind as to purchase me a few bags of these at their local Dollar Tree and mail them to me?

I am willing to send you a Monogram or any other cute idea you'd like me to. I could even send you the money if you'd like.

I just need the larger CLEAR
(not just what the label says either) legit clear gems.

So? do I have any takers? Oh PLEASE!!!!! I beg you!! I have a major craft bazzar coming in November and I really need to get these done!

Cast a spell in this...

So what could I possible make with a beaded
 "cheesy" Christmas tree ($.50 @ Dollar Tree)

And a round placemat?

Well I cut the placemat down a bit and added some ModPodge to the beaded trees because they were losing beads all over the place.

I hot glued the cone to the hat and,

 oh yeah,

I ran some wire through the edge so I could shape the brim a little.

 Then presto change O!!

 

So what do you think? I wanted to do a little more embellishing

but I din't have it at home so it will have to do for now.

PS. I know I go long periods between posts sometimes, usually weekend to weekend. But I am a working Momma and have a 6 yr old in Soccer. It's kinda crazy here ya'll!!! Bear with me I promise to get better!!

Halloween Monogram

Here is my first official Halloween post.

I fell in love with the crayon Monograms that I posted about in my first blog days.

I took the same idea and now I'm using it for Halloween with Candy Corn!!

I finally got Scrapbook Max and
I am using it to it's full capacity!!

I am in love!! I wan't more embellishments,
but what else is new? LOL

We will be having a tiny craft fair at the Long Term Care Center at the Hospital I work at and

Catch-Up

 

So I have been doing a lot of this lately. I needed to put together some of the cute owls I cut out. I am going to hand sew some because of the material I used.

It's too slinky to use on my machine.

Then I ran out of fuseable web so I need to run to

But I'm not going to stop what I'm doing to go get one thing. So I am partially puting everything together.

I also need to get busy with some button bracelets going before my mother KILLS me.

She wants them for her craft show.

Plus Jaiden started Soccer this week and I'm surprisingly happy he is more involved than he was last year!!

Very Serious business here!!

Saturday Serving...

Saturday Serving #3

This weeks serving comes from the recipe I found over at. http://www.favfamilyrecipes.com/

I am preparing this tonight to take to family game night.

We are playing Apples to Apples,

Super fun game!! I highly reccomend it.

So I only changed one ingredient in the recipe, I used red onion becuse it is my favorite!

Meatballs:

1 lb. ground beef


2-3 carrots, shredded


1 large potato, shredded (raw)


1 yellow onion, grated


1 egg


1/2 c. bread crumbs


red pepper flakes, to taste


salt and pepper to taste

Sauce:


1 can cream of chicken


1 can cream of mushroom


1/2 c. sour cream


1 can milk


1 tsp paprika


1 tsp garlic powder


salt & pepper to taste






Preaheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix meatball ingredients together. Roll into fairly large meatballs and place in a lightly greased 9 x 13 baking dish or large casserole (you will have to put them pretty close together and that's ok). Bake for 25-30 minutes (you can also brown them in a skillet instead of baking them but I am all about putting in the least amount of effort). Mix sauce ingredients together in a medium sized mixing bowl and mix with a whisk until creamy. After meatballs are browned, pour sauce evenly over the meatballs and place back in the oven for another 15-20 minutes (or until sides are hot and bubbly). Serve over rice.

Well with so much going on I forgot to post this!! Well here is our final product,

Saturday Serving...

Here is my second saturday serving!

This time we have Beef Lombardi

1 lb ground beef

1 can diced tomatoes

1 can rotel

2 tsp sugar

1 1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1 6oz can tomato paste

1 8oz pk of egg noodles

green onions chopped

1 8oz sour cream

1 C. Sharp Chedder Cheese

1 C. Parmesan

1 C. Mozzarella

Brown hamburger & drain. stir in diced tomatoes & rotel DO NOT DRAIN add sugar & salt.

Simmer 30 minutes.

Meanwhile cook egg noodles then drain and add your desired amount of green onions & add sour cream.

Spoon mixyure into a greased 13x9 dish.

Top with beef mixture and sprinkle with cheeses.

At this point you can freeze the dish to save for later or cover with foil and bake

at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

And Serve!

Give a HOOT..Don't Pollute!

So I found this cute pattern at Toad's Treasures.

I decided to do this and I have NEVER, EVER done anything like this before.

I just want to share that before we get started.

I have said before I have no budget so I can't just run out and pick up what I don't have to do a project.

I took an old sweater.

Then I cut out the pattern on the sleeves. I of course didn't take picture of this one but the next one is more detailed. I then used contrasting material scraps and cut out eyes and wings and feet.

This is the laid out design.

I broke out the sewing maching and it wouldn't work. GRRR

So I decided I was going to handstitch this this little guy!

Number one if you know me you know I am ADHD.

That should be enough said but in case you don't grasp it, I could never in a million years be able to sit still long enough to do this. Plus I always want results, yesterday!!

But I focused and I did it. I stitched up the little parts with needle and thread and relized the sweater part would not work with just thread so I had a thing of yarn and did it with that. I really enjoyed that for some reason. By the time I got it all stitched up and ready to stuff.... I don't have polyfill. Plastic bags it is!

I also decided to use buttons for his eyes. I know he's not perfect but practice makes perfect.

The next pics are done with a sewing machine but still totally recycled!
