A bit disappointed today.

So I was all stoked to post my new printable I made in Scrapbook Max because I am in LOVE with this program. Plus it was an awesome way to support Breast Cancer Awareness this month. I wanted to share it with everyone and I just knew everyone would love them too. I guess I was wrong. It's my own fault that I hyped myself up for this big fanfare but I was just so excited, now I feel dissed by blog land. How pathetic I know. Well I am trying not to hold a grudge but I have lost my gusto for a few days to say the least. I will be back and in full force but for now I have to get over my "bad date"

I'm not as broken as some of my graphics are but I just really liked them. I hope everyone has a great day and can enjoy their week.

I will be back in full force this next week. I have worked on some magnets and I am making my own cakestand for a christmas present. Thanks for the idea Sunny, check her out if you haven't. She rocks the blog land in three fold!!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

I am sure all of you may be aware that October is
Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

I created these spiffy notecards with Scrapbook Max and I want to share them with you!

This is my first creation for a freebie.

I have also made some pretty awesome necklaces to share with  you at the bottom of this post.

If you would like one I will sell them for $10 and all procedes will go to Breast Cancer Awarness.

This one is for your spiffy Post It note holder I know you all have made.

I think you can just click on each one and save it as a .jpeg and then in your pictures folder you can choose what size you would like to print it through the printing wizard. I have printed them all 4x6.

I hope you enjoy!!

Here are my necklaces.
I said if you fall in love like I did feel free to e-mail me to order one for $10 and just FYI I am only keeping my cost for supplies and the remainder will be donated to Susan G. Komen Foundation

Saturday Serving...(ok it's Sunday)

I haven't done much in the way of cooking lately because I am a slacker and haven't wanted to clean the kitchen. Yeah I know lame.
Well I went over to:
Photobucket

I was browsin around, ya know shopping for
an easy peasy meal.
Well I always buy bulk chicken breasts,
sometimes frozen sometimes fresh.
Well I need to get the ones I've got in the fridge seperated out and frozen before they spoil.

My little monster loves him some chicken nuggets. So I used her recipie to try her version. Well I am one batch down and they really are YUMMY!

Homemade Chicken Nuggets

4 Chicken Breasts, cubed

1 cup Italian bread crumbs

½ c. parmesan cheese (grated or dried)

½ teas. garlic powder (I used garlic salt & just skipped the salt)

½ teas. salt

Skim milk (or whatever you have)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
(These can be made in a toaster oven to eliminate heating up the house during the summer.)

Combine bread crumbs, cheese, garlic and salt in a bowl or a Ziploc bag.
Dip chicken cubes into milk then in the bread crumbs.

Place on a cookie sheet so they are not touching. Bake about 20 minutes.

You may want to turn them over ½ way through the baking
so the bottom and top are equally crispy.

Serve with fruit & dipping sauce of choice. I personally didn't hink they needed ANY!

He ate lunch and I threw the rest in the freezer
for those nights when I get...
" Mommy I want chicken nuggets"
Oh that's like everynight!!!

Thanks again Envy My Cooking!!

Candy Corn

So I tried to embark on the clay pot candy dish event.
Well I could not find the size that would fit my bowl the best so,
I got the only size I could find.
Needless to say the base that becomes the top....

Photobucket

NOT WORKING!!!

So now I took the lid off and just added cute ribbon.

The big ole candy corn inside are little candles. I found at the thrift store!

TOO CUTE!

Scrappy Subway Art

Ok not quite the same thing but hey I love me some graphics!!

I wanted some subway art really bad.
I even had my dad cut me a piece of wood from his stash.
I did not have the patience to cut out letters
or to stencil them either.

I did however want to keep playing with Scrapbook Max!

LOVE IT!!
 here is what I did;

Plus this weekend I had to finish up some of my crafts for this Friday's Craft Fair where I work.
Here are the fruits of my labor:
