Thank you! These ROCK!!

Can I just tell you how much I love, love, love,
 link-up parties!!
I get so many awesome ideas and sometimes I actually follow through with them. LOL

So I saw these @ Making Memories:

I commented and then went and robbed my recycling box of cardboard.

These are main staples in our house.
They are guilty midnight snacks, breakfasts, &
a happy resort when a dinner flops...BADLY.

So I just had to make these!!
Again, THANK YOU Making Memories!

Saturday Serving...

Well I am feeling pretty overwhelmed with all my current projects and I am not a current location to post one of them. So I will start a new line of posting I hope you enjoy.
My Saturday Serving will be my recipe of the week.

This week is a Dorito Delight.
..

I found it in a magizine and have made it my own.

1 envelope ranch dressing mix
2lbs of chicken tenders
3/4 cup of buttermilk (just because it coats better)or milk
1 large egg
1 bag of either ranch or nacho cheese flavor doritos crushed (I've done both & prefer the nacho)

Preheat oven to 450 degrees
whisk buttermilk egg and ranch packet
dip chicken in buttermilk mixture then roll in crushed chips place in a lighty sprayed baking dish.
Bake for 20 minutes or until crisp. As you can see mine have a hint of brown on the chips so I took it out.

It's not a Grand-e-oso pic but it's real and it's awesome served with ranch to dip it in.
I hope you enjoy!!

Decisions... Oh decisions!?!

After some contemplation and serious inspiration from my commenters, I have finally concluded what to do with my Jewelry Arm"wall". I didn't want this to be a pricey deal because my mission is to be crafty with whatcha' got.
Which in turn means thrifty!

I do NOT have any extra money laying around to spend frugally. I have made everything so far out of items I found in my mothers stash or at work (with permission). I am fully aware I have a spending problem and would shop till the moment I had a heart attack and died. So this blog and my crafts are a sort of theraputic grief counceling of sorts for me. I have turned all my finances over to a family member in hopes of somehow getting out of the rut that is my debt.
Well enough whining I wanna see this Jewelry thingy!

I found a cute idea on a blog to make a sweet design out of cut toilet paper rolls. Well I just made flowers with them. Plus I have an un-godly amount of buttons right now from my bracelet making, so I used those as the center of the flowers.

Photobucket

This is going to be kind of long because I'm not sure how to make another page with a tutorial on it so I am just adding it here.

Photobucket
Lay your toilet paper roll out and flatten it.

Photobucket
Mark the width you like.

CUT & Glue!

PhotobucketPhotobucket
I used a pipe cleaner to attach the buttons then I placed them on the flower with a twist.

Photobucket
Here they all are.

I added this sign with a piece of broken picture frame and scrapbook paper. Then burnt the edges and Mod Podged it.

I could do more to it but I kind of like the simplicity of it. Plus I don't want to take away from the flowers. What do you think?

SOOOOOOO Excited!!!

I found this piece of metal wire grate stuff at work. I instantly thought Jewelry. I have so much and I do not own a jewlry box and my Dad will not make me a nice one like he made my Momma.(GRRRRR)
Photobucket

So I decided this will go on my wall in the bathroom for all my stuff to hang on!!
I CAN NOT WAIT! I was hoping it would fit on this one section of wall and guess what....

Photobucket

After one of the "guys" & I trimmed off the section I wanted, one of the other kind gentelmen at work used the grinder and sanded the sharp points down. Then I brought it home and tried it out.

I used some cute binder clips I found and some of those trendy paperclips you never really want to use on stuff because you don't want to lose them, they are so cute. Well mine have been in my desk at work until now!!

Photobucket

I don't know about you but some paint and some neat garland and some flowers will make this just FAB! Let me know what you think will look good. I will be painting it tomorrow and will post that pic by the end of the day. Please come back and check it out!!

With Buttons on your Wrists...+update.

I found the cutest bracelets to make here. So I wanted to do my own version and this is what I came up with.

Photobucket

I just had a few buttons and I wanted to try these out. I started with the monkey one and I even wore it to work! I got several compliments so I came home and made some more.

Photobucket Photobucket

This purple flower one was a bit too small when I got it finished so I had to redo it.

Items Needed!

A plan!

Super cute findings!

The final product!

My son let me know he wants one with a dinosaur button. So I guess I will be making a trip to Wal-Mart tonight. I love when he like the stuff I make.

Please let me know what you think if you have a second!
Thanks!
Photobucket

Ok so I couldn't stop tonight. I had to make more after I hit Wal-Mart and didn't find a dino button, but I did find so much more!! YAY!!

I started off making Jaiden a backpack dangle with a robot.
Photobucket Photobucket

I think it's cute. We will see how long it lasts. LOL

Then I have these SWEET buttons that I knew I needed something for myself.
Photobucket

I know huh? AWESOME!!
I'm not sure I like how it turned out for sure but it will do for now. I need better wire that is more flexible.

Photobucket

The next 2 are just messin' around and I really love the stars but not sure about the rainbow.
